Korean Society for Brain and Neural Science (“KSBNS”) and the Tianqiao & Chrissy Chen Institute (“TCCI”) jointly announce new writing fellowships to be awarded to graduate students or postdoctoral scholars attending 2022 KSBNS annual meeting.
Two weeks after the meeting, the Chen Science Writer will provide TCCI with a 3-page co-authored written report with a high-level description of the conference and several “bullet points” that address the following:
- the discussions/findings the scholar found particularly exciting
- controversies that were discussed
- their view of future issues that need to be addressed
The report will be prepared by the Chen Scholars with mentorship and consultation by designated members of the organizing Committee.
The report may not contain information deemed confidential by designated members of the Conference organizing Committee.
In return, the Chen Science Writer will be eligible for a full refund of the meeting fees and a 500,000KRW honorarium on successful delivery of the meeting report within two weeks of the conclusion of the meeting.
Individuals interested in applying for this opportunity should email a 1-2 paragraph writing sample on a scientific theme related the meeting topic to ChiHye Chung ([email protected], [email protected]) by May 9th.

Article 5 (Application for Use)Users may apply for the use by recording their personal information in the membership application form required by the Society on the membership information screen of the Service.
Article 6 (Acceptance and Rejection of Application for Use)Members may view and revise their information at any time through member information management. When the information that a member filled out in the application for use has changed, it should be corrected and the member shall be responsible for any problems caused by the failure to correct the information.
Members shall not transfer or endow the right to use the Service and other contractual status to others and shall not use it as collateral.
The Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences shall not be held liable for any damages incurred to the members in connection with the free Service except in the event that such damages are caused by the significant negligence of the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences.

All cancellations must be submitted via e-mail ([email protected]) to the Secretariat. All refunds will be processed before the congress and all processing fee will be deducted from the reimbursement. If you do not attend the congress without notice of cancellation, no refund will be given.
* During Online Registration Period: A 100% of the registration fee will be refunded.
* After Online Registration Deadline: No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after this date.
