Inspiring the Future through Neuroscience

The 25th Annual Meeting of the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences

2022. 5. 19 (Thu) ~ 5. 21 (Sat)

Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences (KSBNS), I cordially welcome you to the 25th annual meeting of KSBNS, scheduled for May 19-21, 2022 at the Songdo Convensia located in Incheon, South Korea. The conference venue is 15 minutes away from Incheon International Airport by car and an hour from Seoul, making it pleasant and convenient for touring the Seoul metropolitan area.

The primary goal of our conference is to provide you an exceptional opportunity to update cutting-edge advancements and new concepts in the field of neuroscience. Thanks to the superb work of the program committee, this year we will have 4 world-renowned plenary lecturers and 1 keynote lecturer: Okihide Hikosaka (National Institute of Health), Nancy Bonini (University of Pennsylvania), Edward Boyden (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Arnold Kriegstein (University of California, San Francisco), and Geoffrey Schoenbaum (National Institute of Health). Additionally, there will be Joseph Jin Chang Award lecture, 2 Scitech Korea Young Scientist Award lectures, and 20 symposia showcasing various fields of neuroscience. The program committee has expanded the space for poster presentations compared with previous meetings to make a pleasant environment for communication.

I also welcome the exhibitors who have subscribed to the conference. The exhibitor’s booths will be situated in the poster area to promote interaction between the participants of the scientific program and our commercial partners. The exhibitors will be pleased to introduce their most recent instruments and research materials.

I am looking forward to seeing you all in Incheon and making this meeting a scientific highlight and a memorable festival.

Sincerely,

Seungbok Lee, KSBNS President
