Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission Deadline    April 29 (Fri), 2022

1. All abstracts must be submitted in English online through the abstract submission site by the submission deadline. No email submissions will be accepted.

2. Authors should assign their abstract to a specific category. (See Abstract Categories)

  5. Glia, Glia-neuron Interactions
  6. Neurobiology of Disease
  7. Synaptic Transmission and Excitability
  8. Systems and Circuits

3. The maximum length allowed is 150 characters for a title, 2,000 characters for an abstract body and 200 characters for acknowledgements including blank spaces. Use sentence-style capitalization for the title. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word in the title, proper nouns, and the first word following a colon.

4. Acknowledgement of receipt of your submission with an abstract submitting number will be sent to the submitter’s email address and the corresponding author(s)' email address(es) immediately upon submission. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please do not submit the abstract again, instead please contact the secretariat at [email protected].

5. The submitters are required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

6. The submitters must register with full payment for the conference in order to submit an abstract. Attending co-authors must register independently.

7. All abstracts submitted for Oral presentation will be reviewed by the scientific program committee after the abstract submission deadline and 8 to 10 abstracts will be selected to be presented in Symposium 8: Young investigators symposium.

8. Oral presentation may be changed to poster presentation or poster presentation to oral presentation by the scientific program committee. Both the presenting authors and corresponding authors will be informed of any change to their submitted presentation type.

9. The authors are requested to proofread the abstract carefully for formatting, spelling and data errors. Errors can be corrected if revised by the abstract submission deadline. No corrections can be made to abstracts after the deadline.

10. If you choose to withdraw your abstract, please email your request by April 29 (Fri), 2022 to the secretariat. After this date, your abstract will be published as it was submitted.

11. All presentations during the sessions will be assessed by judges. The presenters who have made the most outstanding oral presentations and poster presentations will be selected for the awards. Awardees The winners will be announced and acknowledged and shall receive a certificate and a cash prize at 11:40 on May 21(Sat), 2022 at the General Assembly.
